About the role:

 

 Job Title The Role The Skills Required Salary & Band
Project Officer The Project Officer will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of geophysical survey projects from commissioning to reporting. Jobs may range from less than a hectare, to in excess of 1000ha in size.Project Officers are responsible for:

–        Delivering projects within budget and within agreed timescales

–        Managing multiple projects simultaneously

–        Overseeing project set up tasks such as RAMS / WSI production

–        Manage field teams and ensuring fieldwork is undertaken to a high standard

–        Managing report authors and ensuring reports are written to a high standard

–        Line managing the employees who are working on their projects whether in the field or in the office

–        Knowledge of assessing quality of geophysical data or archaeological and near surface applications–        Critical analysis skills

–        The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines

–        Build strong relationships with stakeholders

–        Experience in supervising or managing teams.

–        Experience in mentoring.

 

£30,100 – £35,200Band: M5

Please note that Project Officers are expected to occasionally do site visits or fieldwork but is on an ad hoc basis.
